Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger

Carrying multiple charging cables and bricks to power your devices may become a hassle and overwhelming, but the Nano Mini allows you to take the job of two cables and put them into one.

With Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger, you can experience the joy of a portable charging station without the high price tag Apple sells its for.

The Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger comprises two connected circular silicon pucks to make a foldable charging station. Measuring 7.2 x 6.14 x 1.38 inches and weighing 9.6 ounces, the Nano Mini is light and portable to carry around.

Icons are posted on each puck to identify which charging station charges which primary device. The charging station on the left charges your iPhone, while the station on the right charges your Apple Watch.

MagSafe is built into the iPhone charging station and can charge any MagSafe-compatible devices you own.

If you do not have a MagSafe device, the charging station also charges Qi-compatible devices to power them wirelessly.

The Apple Watch station offers an uprising puck that can stay flat or prop up for better access to see your device when charging. This allows you to set it in Nightstand Mode — which displays the Apple Watch time on a dimmed display. You can also charge your AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) from here.

Underneath the MagSafe charging dock is a little kickstand that magnetically attaches to the Apple Watch dock and creates a charging stand. This is good for propping your iPhone up for FaceTime calls or watching media.

One issue Apple's MagSafe Duo charging station has is that it is incompatible with the newest iPhones due to their camera bumps getting in the way. This is not the case with the Nano Mini, which allocates for raised-out camera bumps.

There are indicator lights on the top of the Apple Watch dock on the Nano Mini that indicate current charging, abnormal charging patterns if an error occurs, and which part of the charging station is currently in use.

The Nano Mini is built with dedicated temperature control, which will eliminate overheating battery damage to the charging station.

Charging with the Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger is as simple as placing down your device and letting it soak in power.

The Nano Mini receives power through the USB-C port on the back of the Apple Watch charging dock and outputs three amps.

While the charging brick can output 18W charging speeds, the MagSafe pad outputs 10W power, and the Apple Watch puck outputs 5W. More specifically, the MagSafe pad can output 7.5W to 10W power, and the Apple Watch puck can output 2.5W to 5W.

Due to the speeds, no fast wireless charging is available for compatible iPhones and Apple Watch Series 7 and later.

If you plan on traveling a lot with the Nano Mini, Ucomx offers a traveling case to store the charging station, USB-C cable, and charging brick all in one compartment.

The Ucomx Travel Case is 11 x 10 x 8 cm and made from high-quality EVA material. This material makes the Travel Case waterproof, dust-proof, and shockproof while preventing skidding.

On the outside is a zipper that goes 3/4 around the whole case and ensures the enclosure is nicely shut. On the inside is a pouch to store the USB-C cable and charging brick, and on the other side is a strap to secure and place the Nano Mini when traveling.

While the Travel Case is an excellent accessory when traveling with the Nano Mini, it is unnecessary to get the most out of the charging station.

The Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger is a great portable charging station that powers up multiple devices with one source.

The minimalistic folding design lets you quickly put the Nano Mini in your bag and take it anywhere. The charging speeds are good — though not as good as fast charging — and the connections are solid, with no fear of your devices randomly losing connection.

The folding design allows you to magnetically stack each station on top of one another for a simple and secure connection. This was useful when charging only one device, but the table the charging station was on had limited space.

Transforming the Nano mini into a charging stand was also helpful for FaceTime calls and watching media in landscape or portrait orientation. In addition, due to MagSafe being incorporated into the iPhone charging station, it kept the device secure with no worry of falling.

The center that connects the two charging stations is very flexible, but it also feels very fragile. While no damage was done during our Nano Mini testing, the worry remained.

Also, while the Nano Mini is significantly cheaper than the MagSafe Duo charging station, it is not that more expensive than the Ucomx Nano 3-in-1 Wireless Charger. That charging station has everything the Nano Mini comes with, plus an extra Qi charging station for your AirPods or other compatible wirelessly charging devices.

For what the Ucomx Nano Mini Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger can do, it is an excellent charging stand that performs very well when charging multiple devices. Still, unless you find it on sale for less than $40, consider looking at the Nano 3-in-1 Wireless Charger.
