Nordstrom Rack opening Thursday at Birmingham’s The Summit

Nordstrom Rack will open its newest location at Birmingham's The Summit this Thursday.

A grand opening will kick off at 8 a.m. with music, breakfast snacks, branded tote bags and a beauty sample bar.

Doors will officially open at 9 a.m. Customers can enter for a chance to win one of 20 $100 gift cards, with one customer winning a $1,000 gift card.

In January, Nordstrom Rack announced its River Ridge store off U.S. 280 would relocate to The Summit.

The new store will occupy a 27,000-square-foot space, according to a company release. Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, offering customers up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty, home and shoes.
